Meet the newest member of Dr. Shunji Tomatsu’s Research Lab

Dr Vu Chi Dung

The Carol Ann Foundation is pleased to announce the scholarship for Dr Vu Chi Dung.  One of Dr. Shunji Tomatsu’s newest lab assistant that will be working for the development of the drug for Morquio A disease at Saint Louis University School of Medicine starting October 1, 2006. Dr. Vu Chi Dung is from The National Hospital of Pediatrics at Hanoi, Vietnam and has extensive experience with Endocrinology, Metabolism and Genetics. He is published many scientific papers and is in the Japanese Journal for inherited Metabolic Diseases and The Journal of Medical Research. He has been awarded First prize of National Science Congress of young researchers of medicine faculties in Vietnam in 1998. He was awarded the Pfizer Overseas Fellowship according to outstanding presentation for the Japanese Society for Inherited Metabolism Diseases in 2004.
